What will be taught?

Our private classes give you the freedom to choose the content of the sessions, from learning a specific technique to designing and building a jewellery collection. Examples of techniques include casting in sand and cuttlefish, mould making, metal inlay, wax carving, trapping stones in metal and electroforming. You can choose to focuse on a specific project such as making a box clasp or working with gold. The class can also include a design element or can be used for advice and feedback on designs and projects you are already working on. 

We are happy to choose a set of projects for you if you wish to learn basic jewellery skills in a private class setting.

Who is it for?

Private tuition is perfect for any jewellery maker, student or crafts practitioner who wishes to learn a specific technique or improve their design skills within a bespoke one to one class tailored to their specific needs. There is also the possibility of bespoke classes for couples or small groups. Please contact us for more details if you are interested in this option.

Who will be teaching?

The tutor will be assigned by K2 Academy based on the technique that will be taught.
